Run to Pilates… and let me tell you why!

Running is said to be one of the highest impact sports on joints and ligaments, with at least six times your body weight hitting the ground with every footstrike. Your biomechanics and stabilising muscles are therefore critical. And this is where Pilates fits in. Strength, flexibility, balance, proprioception, ankle/hip/knee stability, core strength, good alignment and posture and an efficient gait cycle are important to run further and faster efficiently and injury-free.
