A magnificent 7km climb with 1200m of ascent to reach our refuge for the night. A mixture of snow, wind, rain and loads of cloud cover flirted with the mountains as we embraced mother nature. A highlight was the icy glaciers and a constant change in weather conditions - each time showing us a different beauty of the Mont Blanc mountain range.
This year has been a top birthday celebration - one where I have felt so deeply overwhelmed by love and joy.
